Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical expert in public health and preventive medicine, serving as a specialist medical consultant to other MOHs, physicians, healthcare providers, and stakeholders on patient and population public health issues.
• Lead control of communicable diseases, environmental and other threats to population health, and respond to public health emergencies while promoting community health and advancing health equity.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external health stakeholders.
• Provide on‑call coverage and support the development and implementation of public health practice and safety policies.
• Serve as an educator, preceptor and mentor, contributing to the improvement of public health knowledge.
