Learn more about this authority at: Direct Hire Authority This Wildland Firefighter (Fuels Crew) position is with the US Wildland Fire Service, GW-0456-3 working in Whiteriver, Arizona Responsibilities As a Wildland Firefighter (Fuels Crew) your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Serves as an entry level wildland firefighter on a fuels crews. May assist in fireline activities such as line construction, hose layout, operations of pumps and accessories, and mop-up operations. Utilizes a variety of specialized tools, equipment and techniques while actively managing wildland fires. Participate in fire and safety training in the techniques, practices and methods of fire suppression. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
