Responsibilities As a Wildland Firefighter (GW-4), your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Serves as a trained wildland firefighter on an Engine Crew. May assist in specialized assignments such as tree felling, backfire, and burnout operations. Utilizes a variety of specialized tools, equipment and techniques while actively managing wildland fires.
