Welding Technician

Description:

Process Execution: Follow established Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS); Quality & Self-Inspection: Conduct visual self-inspections on products to check for defects like spatter, porosity, or undercut; Basic Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily machine cleaning, replace gun nozzles and contact tips, and assist with general troubleshooting. Team Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, quality inspectors, and process technicians to hit daily targets.

Qualifications:

Certifications: a valid CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certification. Experience: Proven experience in automotive manufacturing, metal fabrication, or heavy equipment industries. Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a rotating shift environment and perform tasks that involve prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
