As a Welding Engineer Intern, you will support the technical department and production teams, while developing welding specifications and conducting root cause analysis on various issues. This internship not only exposes you to advanced metallurgical testing but immerses you in one of Canada's largest shipbuilding programs. You will gain invaluable insights under the supervision of the Manager, Welding Engineering.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in developing Welding Procedure Specifications • Support metallurgical testing procedures in the lab • Contribute to Welding Quality Management System initiatives • Organize and review the Welding Procedure Database • Collaborate on special projects assigned by management
