Welder
Position at GanawaCompany , a full-service steel fabricator and supplier for bridge and structural steel projects. Qualified in steel works.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Read detailed blueprints and diagrams to complete welding processes
- Ensure fit-up for welding (cut, drill, bevel, grind)
- Prepare welding part layout, position, align and assemble
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt parts
- Operate power tools such as grinding wheel and die grinder
- Examine and assess workpieces for defects using measuring tools and jigs
- Work with minimal supervision, self‑motivated
- Work at mobile welding sites or in shop location
- Welding certificate or diploma preferred
- 3+ years of MIG welding experience
- CWB weld ticket preferred
- Ability to work overtime if required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
