Become a key part of the Waterloo Regional Health Network as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Deliver impactful inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services as part of a dedicated team.
This full-time position focuses on providing specialized care for children and adolescents at our busy hospital in Kitchener-Waterloo. Patients will benefit from your expertise in both medication management and psychotherapeutic interventions, supported by a respected multidisciplinary team. You will also play a crucial role in educating future healthcare professionals working alongside psychiatry residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric evaluations
• Implement tailored medication and therapy plans for patients
• Work in collaboration with a six-member psychiatry team
• Manage urgent referrals from the Emergency Department
