Opportunity Description
Make a difference in community health as a Water Treatment Technician for OCWA in Mississauga, Ontario. Operate advanced water treatment systems in this full-time position with rotational shifts.
You will be responsible for optimizing operations at a Class 4 Water Treatment facility with a capacity of 1200 mega liters per day. This role requires expertise in treatment processes such as ultrafiltration membranes and UV disinfection, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates with a passion for environmental health and safety will excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate advanced Class 4 water treatment systems
• Ensure regulatory compliance in treatment processes
• Monitor and maintain equipment and operational conditions
• Work on a rotating shift basis in various weather
• Maintain accurate records and reports of operations
Requirements:
• Class 1 Water Treatment certification preferred
• Valid Class G driver’s license required...
