Opportunity Description
- To serve as the senior technical subject matter expert for enterprise Sybase ASE and appliance-based database platforms supporting mission critical treasury, trading, risk management and enterprise analytical systems within highly regulated financial services.
- The role is responsible for ensuring stability, availability, scalability, integrity and performance optimization of complex database ecosystem support high value financial transactions, real time processing and large-scale analytical workloads, and business critical reporting environments
- The SME will provide deep technical support in managing and optimizing Sybase ASE databases, Netezza / IBM NPS appliance-based systems plus supporting SQL Server, PostgreSQL and enterprise data platforms where required.
