Be a vital part of patient care as an Anesthesia Assistant with Vancouver Coastal Health at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. Deliver critical support and clinical assistance throughout all phases of anesthesia.
With a focus on best practices, you will work under the guidance of an Anesthesiologist to develop effective anesthesia care plans. This role encompasses monitoring patients' responses and ensuring overall care safety while collaborating within a surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer technical support during all anesthesia phases
• Collaborate with Anesthesiologist on care planning
• Observe and respond to patients’ physiological changes
• Ensure proper operation of anesthesia equipment
• Participate in various hospital committees and research projects
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Assistant Program
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
