Opportunity Description
- Oversee the end‑to‑end preparation and review of VAT returns, SAF‑T files, Intrastat, and other statutory reports across the EMEA region.
- Oversee data accuracy and completeness, identify inconsistencies, and coordinate corrective actions with finance and operational teams.
- Ensure timely submission of VAT obligations and coordinate payment processes with the Accounts Payable department.
- Support and lead initiatives to onboard new entities and VAT registrations into the global SAP environment, including VAT‑related system testing.
- Perform VAT account reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and ensure proper recording of all VAT‑related transactions.
- Maintain SOX compliance and provide support during internal and external audits as well as tax authority reviews.
- Collaborate with accounting teams, business stakeholders, and the VAT Manager on VAT‑related matters and interpretation of tax rules.
