Utility Systems Repairer-Operator

Summary This position is located in Golden Gate National Recreation Area, on Alcatraz Island, with the Facility Maintenance Division. This announcement may be used to fill additional positions if identical vacancies occur within 90 days of the issue date of the referral certificate. Responsibilities Maintain, test, and troubleshoot solar power distribution, generators, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) telemetry, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and other related systems. Install, repair, and test electrical panels, breakers, lighting, and distribution circuits. Repair and replace water system related components such as pumps, tanks, filters, and pipelines. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and complex boiler plant equipment with critical tolerances and auxiliary systems.
