Overview

Underwriting Specialist – Commercial Auto and Transportation at AIG Canada. You will underwrite commercial auto and transportation risks nationwide, ensuring compliance with casualunderwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements, while driving profitable new and renewal business.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Canadian auto policies, including Owned Auto, Non‑Owned Auto, Garage, Lessor’s Contingent, and CGL policies.
• Analyze risk, ensure compliance, and produce profitable new and renewal business.
• Provide superior customer service to brokers, clients, and colleagues.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with broker partners.
• Participate in special underwriting projects as needed.
• Assist in mentoring and training junior underwriters.
