Responsibilities
- Ensure patient identification, safety, and preparation are correct before a scan while maintaining confidentiality.
- Greet patients, explain the forthcoming test, position, and prepare them for examination.
- Observe patients during the diagnostic procedure, noting any symptoms or changes in vital signs, and summon medical aid when necessary.
- Perform all required quality control assessments and comply with policies, health and safety legislation, and best practices.
