Job Overview

Reporting to the Design Manager, as the Truss Designer you will prepare truss layouts, designs and estimates for various building projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Structural design and providing estimates for roof and/or floor truss systems as well as Engineered Wood Product (I‑joists, LVL) floor systems and individual components according to specifications and requirements.
• Implementing design changes and communicating with other related departments to ensure designs & estimates are accurate.
• Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with Qualico’s Safety Program, policies and procedures.
