**Job Description**
The Truck Technician plays a key role in preparing trucks to be uniformly road-ready by performing mechanical modifications, installations, and light fabrication work. This entry-level shop role focuses on drilling and bolt-on modifications, routing and securing wiring and lines, and installing a wide variety of electronic systems used in modern fleets, including telematics, camera systems, ELDs, geo-fencing, and lane departure technologies. New hires in this classification receive direction and supervision while they develop their mechanical skills and become proficient with the tools and processes used in fleet preparation.
