truck driver (Leduc)

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects.
• Carry out preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of cargo.

Qualifications

• Driver's license Class 1 or A.
• Knowledge of documentation and licensing procedures.
• Driver logbook and inspection reports (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip) required.
• Basic security clearance and driving record check (abstract) required.
