Truck Driver

Job Description: Driving trucks to transport goods between warehouses, factories, customers, and distribution centers. Loading and unloading cargo, or supervising the loading process. Inspecting the truck before and after each trip (brakes, tires, lights, fuel, etc.). Ensuring cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transport. Following assigned delivery schedules and planned routes. Maintaining accurate delivery records, logbooks, and transport documents. Obtaining signatures or proof of delivery from customers. Reporting accidents, delays, vehicle breakdowns, or cargo damage to the supervisor. Performing basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting repair needs. Following traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies. Keeping the truck clean and in good working condition. Coordinating with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and customers regarding deliveries.
