Responsibilities At the full performance level, the Tribal Victim Assistance Specialist will provide a variety of services to victims in the Indian Country. Duties include: - Provides advice to attorneys and management serving as a focal point for tribal victim matters within the district. - Develops and implements specific program activities which promote compliance with Federal victim laws and guidelines. - Establishes and maintains communication between various organizations and social service groups that promote the rights of Native American victims. - Provides victims with information regarding the criminal justice system, courtroom orientations, and court escorts. - Prepares victims for courtroom appearances and/or contacts with legal representatives...
