Transportation Aide

The aide assists the van driver in safely transporting clients to and from Day Program.  An aide is needed during transportation with students and/or individuals that have behavioral and/or medical needs.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for redirecting behaviors and physical safety of individuals while in transportation * Assist in loading and unloading special needs individuals and to monitor their ride to and from Day Program * Assist in managing the seating of the passengers so that everyone is safe and secure * Basic first aid * Basic record keeping * Oral and written communication skills * Follow Health and Safety regulations  * Attend safety meetings * High School diploma or equivalent REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS * Must be patient and courteous with others, including, but not limited to parents, coworkers, and the general public * Sitting for extended periods of time  * Hearing and speaking to exchange information * Reaching, pulling, and pushing to open van doors or win...
