Responsibilities
Perform a variety of steady‑state and transient power system studies. Participate in meetings with utilities as part of project delivery or business development. Lead or support projects throughout the whole lifecycle, from the technical bid/proposal to execution, reports, client meetings/presentations, and close‑out. Work closely with team members across North America and globally. Participate in ISO/RTO stakeholder forums and other applicable technical committees and stay up to date with the latest standards and requirements. Qualifications
Advanced degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum 4 years of direct experience with power system studies using PSS/E, TARA and/or PSCAD. Strong background with at least one of the following system operators: ISO‑NE, NYISO, PJM, IESO. Up‑to‑date knowledge and experience with NERC, FERC, and NPCC reliability standards.
