**Description**
As a **Transmission Planning Engineer** on our **Expansion Planning** team, you'll work alongside MISO members and industry stakeholders to develop transmission solutions that become part of the MISO Transmission Expansion Plan (MTEP)—one of the industry's most important long-term planning efforts.
In this role, you'll perform a variety of transmission planning studies and reliability assessments that help ensure the grid remains reliable as the energy landscape continues to evolve. Your work will include steady-state, transient, and voltage stability analysis, project reviews, compliance assessments, and technical support for a variety of planning initiatives.
Beyond the technical work, you'll have opportunities to improve planning processes, collaborate across multiple departments, mentor teammates, and help solve some of the industry's most complex transmission planning challenges.
