Transit Planning Coordinator

Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor of Planning, the Transit Planning Coordinator monitors and analyzes existing transit service and infrastructure, recommends improvements, develops short‑term and long‑term service plans, reviews technical comments on development applications, manages on‑street infrastructure, conducts surveys, coordinates stakeholder responses, and provides team support.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data and make recommendations for change, monitoring route performance, ridership trends, and forecasting service demand for annual service plans.
• Prepare technical reports supporting recommended service hours and budgets to meet the needs of Brampton residents.
• Assess standards of service and recommend immediate changes as needed.
