The Transfer Station Attendant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the waste transfer station and assist residents in properly sorting and disposing of waste materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the security of the transfer station site, including unlocking and locking the gate and operating any security measures in place.
• Inspecting all materials being disposed of at the site by the public.
• Ensuring all refuse hauled to the site is separated into the designated areas.
• Identify, separate and report any potentially hazardous or prohibited waste dropped at the station.
