Opportunity Description
Our client is a leading asset-backed commodities trading platform with a strong presence across global energy and chemical markets. As part of its continued expansion in Asia, the company is strengthening its Singapore operations and is seeking a Trading Operator to support front-office trading activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, from contract finalisation through cargo delivery and settlement.
- Review and negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and trade documentation.
- Coordinate closely with traders, chartering teams, counterparties, and service providers on voyage planning and cargo movements.
- Monitor operational performance and support the optimisation of deal economics and P&L.
- Oversee post-fixture activities, including vessel operations, laytime calculations, and demurrage claims.
