Salary Information

CG24 - $48,505.60 - $53,414.40 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Trades Worker I is responsible for maintenance, repair and troubleshooting work near the apprentice level in the building, mechanical, plumbing and electrical trades to ensure efficient operation.
• Installs and/or repairs offices, doors, windows, glass, locks, and office furniture such as desks, bookcases, shelving etc.
• Installation of flooring including Commercial vinyl flooring, laminate and vinyl baseboard.
• Installation of surveillance cameras, running of associated data wiring, surface mount conduit and junction boxes.
• Plastering and painting of a variety of wall surfaces, interior and exterior to maintain buildings in good condition through preventative maintenance.
• Operate forklift occasionally.
• Work at heights and will be required to complete fall arrest training and recertification.
