Responsibilities

• Lead the trading and structuring of energy purchase and sale transactions, seeking the best price, term and risk conditions for the portfolio.
• Monitor and interpret relevant energy market variables — PLD, GSF, submarkets, hydrology, load, generation, prices, liquidity, regulatory signals and market movements — translating them into trading opportunities.
• Build and validate scenarios, sensitivity analyses and stress tests to assess market opportunities and risks.
• Develop and review economic‑financial analyses that support buy/sell decisions, pricing, product structuring and portfolio management.
• Monitor positions, exposures, performance metrics, limits and risk indicators of the trading desk, ensuring adherence to governance policies.
• Conduct risk‑return assessments of transactions, clarifying assumptions, potential impacts and key considerations for decision‑making.
