Responsibilities Lead the trading and structuring of energy purchase and sale transactions, seeking the best price, term and risk conditions for the portfolio. Monitor and interpret relevant energy market variables — PLD, GSF, submarkets, hydrology, load, generation, prices, liquidity, regulatory signals and market movements — translating them into trading opportunities. Build and validate scenarios, sensitivity analyses and stress tests to assess market opportunities and risks. Develop and review economic‑financial analyses that support buy/sell decisions, pricing, product structuring and portfolio management. Monitor positions, exposures, performance metrics, limits and risk indicators of the trading desk, ensuring adherence to governance policies. Conduct risk‑return assessments of transactions, clarifying assumptions, potential impacts and key considerations for decision‑making.
