Tooling Engineer

Eaton’s IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Tooling Engineer.

What You’ll Do

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Tooling Engineer is responsible for defining and implementing the functions of product reviews, DFM, tool design, manufacturing, validation, troubleshooting, assembly, modification and replacement of molds, dies and tooling, ensuring compliance with product and process specifications, maximizing efficiency in the use of resources and favorably impacting operation indicators such as they are Quality, Service and Cost.

Essential Functions

• Develop RFQ for plastic injection molds.
• Work with documentation on transfer mold from other Eaton locations.
• DFM & Product reviews.
• Work with overseas suppliers / tool shops tool design reviews & manufacturing.
