Position Summary
Lead Hand to the Toolroom Supervisor
Issue WO’s to Tool Room Personnel/follow up with employee and support to be sure it has been completed on schedule and correctly.
The lead hand position has an added hourly premium.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize workload through Press scheduling.
- Assess tooling before removing from work centre.
- Follow die maintenance procedures.
- Assist engineering on die problems, if possible.
- Will comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Responsible to Tool Room Supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
