Job Overview

As a Sheet Metal Worker Class B, you will read and interpret sketches, schematics and component drawings and verify your own work. You will perform sheet‑metal operations using equipment and hand planishing, and may work under guidance from a Class A worker while remaining responsible for your own work.

Key Accountabilities

• Simple polishing during the process
• In‑process inspection (buddy stamp if required)
• Combustion liner disassembly (aerospace parts only)
• Spot welding and repositioning a cooling ring
• Moving materials within cell or department

Basic Requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Structural Assembly for Aeronautics
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
• Proficient in both French and English
