Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Neuromuscular Disease

The University of Ottawa invites applications for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Neuromuscular Disease. The successful candidate will hold a clinical non‑tenure track position in the Faculty of Medicine's Department of Medicine, the Ottawa Hospital, and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) with potential cross‑appointments. The Chairholder will be a member of the Brain‑Heart Interconnectome (BHI) and must hold or be eligible to hold a license to practice medicine with the College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Tier 2 Chairs

Tier 2 Chairs are tenable for five years and renewable once, for exceptional emerging researchers. The Canada Research Chairs program allocates $100,000 annually for salary support and an additional $20,000 annual research stipend for first‑term holders, plus a competitive start‑up package.
