School District 72 is recruiting a temporary 0.40 FTE School Counsellor to serve at Robron Centre, September 8, 2026 to November 30, 2026.

FTE: 0.40; Salary: $60,015 to $109,520 (proportionate to FTE).

About the Role

The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in understanding and planning for the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of students, demonstrating a strong commitment to the emotional and social development of adolescents.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling (must include a 300‑hour supervised practicum at an appropriate level).
• Successful teaching experience at the Elementary, Middle, or Secondary level.
• Good understanding of the etiology of substance abuse and a thorough knowledge of successful prevention strategies.
