Temp FT (1.0) French 7-9/TAG Teacher (2026-27)

Position Description

A temporary full‑time (1.0) French 7‑9/TAG Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The assignment will be at Dr. Kearney Middle School.

Dr. Kearney Middle School is a vibrant middle school offering classes in grades 7‑9 and enrolling a diverse student population of approximately 600 students, 25 % of whom are of Indigenous descent. The school supports student‑centered learning, collaborative planning, and a caring environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)
• Qualifications and demonstrated ability to teach the identified subjects at the middle years level
• Experience with universal design and differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students
