Opportunity Description
The GIS Substation Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities on high-voltage gas‑insulated substations (GIS), ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution in line with Siemens Energy standards and industry best practices. This role requires a solid understanding of the overall operation of high‑voltage substations, a strong commitment to electrical safety, and mandatory adherence to safety procedures and Zero Harm principles. The supervisor oversees preventive and corrective maintenance of GIS equipment—including circuit breakers, disconnectors, and auxiliary systems—while ensuring adherence to OEM procedures and technical guidelines. The role also includes safe handling, monitoring, and management of SF6 gas in compliance with environmental and safety regulations, support basic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting activities, and lead and coordinate field service teams and subcontractors.
