Technology Counsel - Data Licensing and Procurement (USA)

Trexquant is a growing systematic fund manager with a core team of highly accomplished technologists. We are hiring an early-career technology transactions attorney to focus on the agreements that power our research, trading, and operational infrastructure. The agreements concern data licensing, technology procurement, and related commercial matters.

You will work directly with alpha researchers, data scientists, and software engineers, and partner closely with our team of senior counsel on broader legal functions concerning intellectual property, artificial intelligence, privacy and data protection, securities regulation, and other matters.

Responsibilities:

+ Draft, review, and negotiate data licensing agreements across market and alternative data, with particular attention to commercial terms, usage rights, derived data, user obligations, audit, and exit options.
