Opportunity Description
Become a Technician in Hauling at Mount Milligan in Fort St. James, BC. In this role, operate heavy equipment and ensure safety in a 3-month fixed-term contract.
This technician position requires 2+ years in heavy equipment operation and a commitment to safety protocols. You'll perform inspections, assist in equipment cleanliness, and collaborate to meet mining production goals. Enjoy a 12-hour daily schedule with camp accommodations during your 7 days on / 7 days off rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment securely and responsibly
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections
• Keep equipment clean and adhere to guidelines
• Support the Mining department's operational integrity
• Report hazards and mechanical issues promptly
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of operating experience required
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Valid Driver's License in British Columbia
