Technician - Lunar Avionics | A Shift

Job Description

Provides hands-on support to Engineering/Production/Manufacturing by performing activities such as, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of RF Antennas, IR/Visible Light cameras and LIDAR systems for the Lunar Vehicles. Work may include PCBA assembly or rework, internal cable harness fabrication, precision assembly of optical/laser components and general mechanical assembly. Work is performed from schematics, diagrams, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Performs work in both Laboratory setting as well as work on manufacturing floor or on vehicle depending on manufacturing needs.

This role is part of the Engines, In-Space Systems and Test Ops group and is in Kent but supports the Lunar Permanence group.
