Technical Services Manager

Mission for this Position

Reporting to the General Manager Operations, the Technical Services Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for Baffinland Iron Mines’ Technical Services function. This role is accountable for leading mine technical services, geotechnical oversight, survey, geology, grade control, planning support, reporting, and continuous improvement activities to ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective Mine operations. The incumbent leads and develops a multidisciplinary team of mining engineers, technicians, surveyors, geologists, and other technical professionals while ensuring alignment with safety, environmental, production, quality, regulatory, and budget objectives.
