Lead technical safety initiatives with Hitachi Rail as a Technical Safety Specialist. Drive the safety strategy and enhance methodologies across Urban Rail Signalling projects.
In this critical senior role, the Technical Safety Specialist will steer Safety Engineering efforts to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards. Your expertise in hazard identification and safety analysis will help develop safety-critical systems used in urban rail solutions. Collaborate with project teams, while reporting to the Manager, RAMS Engineering and coordinating with the Chief Safety Architect.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute Safety Engineering activities as per industry standards
• Conduct hazard identification studies and analyses
• Define and evaluate safety requirements for system designs
• Produce comprehensive Safety Case artefacts
• Promote company safety policies across teams
