Technical Officer

Technical Officer in the Centre for Comparative Medicine Research (Ref.: 536681) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; an interest in laboratory animal science and technology; and a demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development in the field. Experience in animal husbandry, operation and maintenance of equipment for sanitation and sterilisation (e.g. autoclave), or inventory/record keeping will be an advantage but not essential. 

The appointee will work in a team to undertake technical and staff supervision/management duties in connection with the operation of a laboratory animal facility.
