Team Leader Projects

This permanent, full-time position, based at Regional House in Palmerston North or our Kairanga Depot, offers the opportunity to lead a skilled team delivering projects that protect communities and enhance the region's environment.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the team and will work alongside other Team Leaders and the Freshwater and Projects Manager. You will have technical oversight of all aspects of the delivery of a capital work programme for the river management and flood protection activity and other specific projects as required. In addition to this, you’ll manage budgets, procurement and reporting for projects, coordinate internal and external input to projects and engagement for projects. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements in all the works we undertake will be key to successful project delivery as will ensuring workloads are appropriately prioritised, and decisions are of a high quality.
