Teaching Assistant & After School Care

Position Overview

Two part‑time roles for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a wide range of abilities while maintaining composure, flexibility, and self‑awareness in a busy environment.
• Manage safety, plan activities, track attendance, and communicate effectively with families.
• Bring engaging activities rooted in storytelling, movement, arts, and music to children.

Qualifications

• Training in educational assisting and/or behaviour intervention.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Experience working with children under nine years of age.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of trauma‑informed and neuro‑affirming care Waldorf education is an asset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive and inclusive environment.
