LOCATION: Career & Technical Education-Adult Health Careers Program @925B Watervliet-Shaker Road
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday @ 8:00AM – 2:30PM
BASIC FUNCTION:
To instruct students in the theory, proper practices, procedures and skills associated with the Practical Nursing Program and other Health Careers programs. To teach theoretical knowledge in the classroom in such a way that it transfers to practical application during the clinical experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for developing and evaluating student progress, teaching safe work habits and protocols and stressing the importance of reliability, competence, loyalty and dependability.
2. Responsible for supervising and evaluating student progress based on defined classroom curriculum.
3. Prepare students for their clinical experiences that they will have in various health care/nursing facilities as part of the Practical Nurse...
