(T/26-88) Personal Support Worker - Long Term Care (Temporary Full-Time)

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse, or other regulated health care professional, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) performs assigned functions as an unregulated care provider, that support the health care team in assisting residents in activities of daily living, and supports the effective operations of resident care areas. The PSW shall provide resident care consistent with the unit specific duties and statement of limitations of the PSW classification and in accordance with all SJHCG policies and procedures.
