System Safety Engineer – Airbus Defence and Space

Location: Getafe (Madrid)

An opportunity for a System Safety Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Aircraft Development Safety Team. The team is multicultural, multidisciplinary, and offers a 360‑degree view of the aircraft development process. You will work closely with Design Offices, Chief Engineering, System Suppliers, and Airworthiness Authorities. The jobholder will reinforce our team to ensure that Airbus military products are designed, developed, and certified according to the highest safety and airworthiness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform System Safety Assessment (SSA) activities for military aircraft systems from development phases until final certification.
