Sustainability Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support our sustainability and building performance teams to manage a portfolio of projects across Canada and in the United States
• Actively participate in the integrated design process, collaborate and liaise with clients, multi-disciplinary project teams, and contribute to the successful pursuit of performance goals such as green building rating systems, performance standards, and leading civic, provincial, and federal green building policies
• Manage multiple scopes of work, tracking milestones, deadlines and deliverables for a range of projects and initiatives
• Conduct green product research to verify the transparency, health, and carbon claims made by product manufacturers
• Develop strategies to reduce embodied carbon through material specifications, product substitutions, and iterative Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)
