Sustainability Engagement Program Manager

Primary Purpose

This role leads the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of sustainability programs that build campus-wide engagement, capacity, and behavior change to support the University of Waterloo’s environmental sustainability and climate objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve programs that enable participation and behavior change across campus, such as the Green Office, Green Labs, Green Residence, and Green Volunteers.
  • Create best practice resources, provide mentorship, coaching, training, and support to ambassadors and participating departments.
  • Collaborate with campus housing to support student ambassador programs and deliver program content.
  • Build and strengthen student leadership networks, including collaboration with student clubs, societies, and groups.
