Summary Incumbent serves as the Lead for Resources at Capitol Reef National Park, representing Natural and Cultural Resources on the management team, reporting to the Superintendent. Responsibilities The incumbent serves as the Resources Management Chief for Capitol Reef National Park and is responsible for providing the overall direction and supervision for the management of day-to-day operations and resources management. Incumbent will be a key member of the management team with responsibility for a wide range of natural and cultural resources including the Fruita Historic district and its many orchards, in a highly visited park. Manages multi-disciplinary resource management program. Carries out program management duties by developing work plans and schedules, scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals and/or grants to justify funding request and accomplish goals.
