SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the WORK CONTROL AND TEST ENGINEERING DIVISION (CODE 246) of the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will formulate an integrated test or work control schedule. You will plan a total Work Control or Test Program for ship assigned utilizing the Ship’s Availability Work Package and schedules. You will prepare detailed test procedures based on NAVSEA derived specifications. You will assist the Chief Test Engineer in planning for sea trials and act as the Assistant Shipyard Test Director during such trials. You will direct the work activities of a group of personnel which varies in number due to the length of the assigned ship’s availability.
